What is the background of the project?

The Interact Group Pty Ltd was founded by Nikki and Paul Brouwers in 1994 & isleader in the provision of injury management, assessment services, workplace rehabilitation, injury prevention, workplace health and safety and disability employment services.  The Interact Group services over 34 locations across NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS and QLD.

Their staff are passionate about the provision of quality and outcome focused health services which promote, ensure and sustain the health benefits of work.

Both Nikki and Paul were looking to change their lifestyle and wanting to spend more time with their three children, hence decided to sell the business.

What are the client’s objectives?

To successfully transfer the business to the new owners with minimum disruption to the existing client base and its staff.

What was the solution?

Hill Rogers Corporate Secretarial team worked closely with the company’s solicitors and assisted with the statutory compliance of the sale by making sure the statutory registers of the company are current. They have also assisted with the requirements of the change in officeholders and transfer of shares of the Company with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (“ASIC”).

What were the results?

In June 2017, the business was successfully sold. Nikki and Paul Brouwers have happily reported that since the sale, they have been enjoying more time with their three children.
