This year’s annual Asia Pacific conference was held in Seoul during 20-23 September. Both John Wilcox and Steve Kim were in attendance, which allowed Hill Rogers to meet with other firms and strengthen their relationship with one another, exchange ideas, share their expertise, and gain a competitive edge through collaboration.
At the commencement of their visit, John and Steve had the opportunity to meet with a few of Korea’s largest investment banks and wealth management companies, where they were able to present the capabilities of Hill Rogers and how the firm can assist with doing business in Australia.
During the conference, Hill Rogers took part in a number of other activities, including a day out at Jisan Country club with Korea’s Shinwoo Accounting Corporation and The US’s Aprio firm. Further on from this, there was a meet and greet at the rooftop bar of Water Hill Vista and a tour of Nami Island and the shopping districts of Seoul.
The last few days of the conference saw the Chairman of the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Mr Joong-Kyung provide a detailed keynote speech on the Korean economy and an industry overview. John and Steve also attended the Corporate Advisory and Audit sessions respectively, where they were involved in great discussions.
After an insightful week, the conference wrapped up with a gala dinner. Read more about the conference here: Morison KSi Asian Pacific conference in Seoul
