Hill Rogers has recently been honoured at this year’s Asia Pacific (APAC) Businesswoman Awards. These prestigious annual awards are run by APAC Insider Magazine and honour the remarkable accomplishments of strong and talented women from a diverse range of industries. For 2017 we’re delighted to have received awards in two high-profile categories, spanning both individual and collective excellence within the firm:

  • Tax & Accounting Consultancy of the Year 2017 – Hill Rogers, Sydney
  • Most Inspirational Female Business Leader 2017, New South Wales – Anita Cohen, Director of Business Solutions.

As Anita Cohen said on announcement of the Awards last month, “This is a wonderful endorsement of the Hill Rogers approach and the pivotal role women continue to play in servicing the needs of our clients. Every day we strive to build stronger partnerships – not just through technical skills and expertise, but with a genuine desire to see our clients succeed. We listen to their specific needs and then partner with them to deliver tailored, practical and future-focussed solutions. We’re here to make a meaningful difference to success, today and in the future.”

Starting with Hill Rogers back in 1997, Anita has been with us for over 20 years and shows no signs of slowing down. She has accomplished a tremendous amount in this time, including playing a central role in broadening the opportunities for women within the firm – something that has, without any question, made us stronger and better placed for success than ever before. Anita was the second female Director to be appointed within Hill Rogers and has since paved the way for a new generation of women within the firm. This has included her taking on a role as trusted mentor and supporter, as well as overseeing personal development and growth into leadership roles.

After recognising the need and importance of future generations within her clients’ families, Anita has also worked tirelessly to develop our ‘Family Business & Family Office Service’. This is designed to match individual family needs and ensure adequate succession strategies for future generations.

Today, Anita works in our Business Solutions division. Her many other achievements include leading the marketing activity and initiatives at Hill Rogers, as well as spearheading a company-wide rebranding program to contemporise the firm and accentuate our values and business promises.

Anita is also a leader within the Hill Rogers team in actively supporting and building a positive impact within the wider community. This includes supporting Stepping Stone House,  and Mary Mackillop Place in North Sydney.

Hill Rogers congratulates Anita and her team on receiving these important awards, and looks forward to many more wonderful achievements in the months and years to come.
